Flickr Desktop Wallpaper is born by chance, because I read on a blog this post showing a wallpaper made with a grid of photos taken from Flickr.
I liked the idea and so I decided to write a small program that does just that:
create a desktop wallpaper with a grid of photos taken from your Flickr account.
Being a project born in less than a week I decided to write it using the .net framework, so, if you don't already have done it, you should download and install the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86) before installing the software.
Currently these are the main features of this software:
● create a desktop wallpaper with random photos taken from the Flickr account set in the Preferences window
● darken (intensity selectable) the wallpaper with a chosen color, to make the desktop less distracting
● automatically create a new wallpaper every X minutes
● go to the system tray when minimized
If many people will ask for new features and their requests will be fairly easy to accomplish, I could add more...
